Our Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course provides the core skills required to become a workplace first aider. Perfect for organisations that need quick, effective training that still meets HSE (Health & Safety Executive) standards, this one-day course prepares you to respond calmly and confidently in real emergencies.
Training is hands-on, interactive, and supportive—making it suitable for complete beginners as well as those refreshing their knowledge.

On completion, participants receive a recognised Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate, valid for 3 years. A practice skills refresher course is recommended every 12 months.

Format options:
- 1 x 6 hour day face-to-face
- 2 x 3 hour twilight sessions face-to-face
What to expect

This qualification covers the key first aid skills needed for day-to-day workplace incidents, including:

Use of an AED

Unconscious casualties & recovery position
